Edgardo Chabier started the match with the kick off. Aureliano Ubelteso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Bazkoare having to interfere. Nunez Gorosti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Laffitte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 8 minutes on the clock, Daniel Arce commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of Magdala AFC booed when Scorpions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Jusepe in the 10th minute of play forced Scorpions FC's goalkeeper Nunez Gorosti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aureliano Ubelteso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luciano Bazkoare having to make a save. A collision led to Scorpions FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Sixto Ticho hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Scorpions FC defense, Edgardo Chabier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nunez Gorosti. The Scorpions FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nunez Gorosti should have stopped the shot. Scorpions FC's Nunez Gorosti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Chale in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Modesto Chale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nunez Gorosti was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Nunez Gorosti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Vitin in the 44th minute of the match. The Scorpions FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Magdala AFC were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aureliano Ubelteso made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Magdala AFC's Edgardo Chabier ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nunez Gorosti. Nunez Gorosti yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Nunez Gorosti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herminio Laffitte, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Modesto Chale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 72 played minutes Magdala AFC got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Viviano. In the 77th minute, Juan Goizeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Magdala AFC's Edgardo Chabier slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nunez Gorosti. That made the score 0-4 after 86 minutes of play. Magdala AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
