The Ceibal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Baldomero Viviano hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the game, Dalmacio Edwardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ceibal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Magdala AFC the free kick. In the 18th match minute, Ceibal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmacio Edwardo to maneuver through the defense. Anier Goiz hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Leandro Tabor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Chabier in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Ceibal's goalkeeper Leandro Tabor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Modesto Chale. In the 35th minute, Cesar Primeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luciano Bazkoare was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciro Fidele in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luciano Bazkoare prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Modesto Chale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anier Goiz during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Ceibal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anier Goiz to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ciro Fidele stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Magdala AFC booed when Ceibal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Sauveur didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Magdala AFC's Luciano Bazkoare got control of the ball when Ciro Fidele tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cesar Primeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luciano Bazkoare read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Luciano Bazkoare made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciro Fidele in the 65th minute. Magdala AFC's Luciano Bazkoare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Gonzalez in the 66th minute of play. If Ciro Fidele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 minutes of play, Ceibal's Ciro Fidele made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luciano Bazkoare was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77th minute, Ciro Fidele ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luciano Bazkoare was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. The crowd rose to their feet as Ceibal's Cesar Primeiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luciano Bazkoare. That made the score 0-7 after 82 minutes of play. Ciro Fidele recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cornelio Gonzalez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciro Fidele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Bazkoare having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Cesar Primeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ceibal's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesar Primeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luciano Bazkoare breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Magdala AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ceibal were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
