The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zeledon Vito showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lisandro Burutzagi might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oscar Ciano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lisandro Burutzagi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 17th minute, Simon Errando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peyami Ulutan in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oscar Ciano saved Guaviraví AFC from getting behind. 0-1 became the score in the 33rd minute when Peyami Ulutan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 36 minutes into the game, Moores FC's Camilo Otoniel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oscar Ciano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Guaviraví AFC's Timoteo Bide slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zeledon Vito. That made the score 1-2 after 39 minutes of play. Guaviraví AFC's Oscar Ciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peyami Ulutan in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Moores FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 56th minute Timoteo Bide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Vito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cipriano Oroitz charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cipriano Oroitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Guaviraví AFC's Cipriano Oroitz got a free kick in the 57th minute. Guaviraví AFC's Oscar Ciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Otoniel in the 60th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Gaizkine during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 63 played minutes Guaviraví AFC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Gaizkine. 68 minutes into the match, Moores FC's Peyami Ulutan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oscar Ciano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. During the 69th minute of the match Cipriano Oroitz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cipriano Oroitz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Moores FC booed when Guaviraví AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Oroitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camilo Otoniel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Oscar Ciano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Evelio Corderall fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guaviraví AFC's protests and gave Evelio Corderall a yellow card for diving instead. 82 minutes into the match, Guaviraví AFC's goalkeeper Oscar Ciano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peyami Ulutan. Peyami Ulutan took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oscar Ciano. Oscar Ciano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. If Peyami Ulutan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Peyami Ulutan came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Moores FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peyami Ulutan couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Moores FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Guaviraví AFC.
