The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Aristides Emmanuel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabalonga's supporters rose to their feet, but Aristides Emmanuel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Ciano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodrigo Artaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Ciano having to interfere. Rodrigo Artaldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Oscar Ciano made a huge save. Oscar Ciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Emmanuel in the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Cabalonga's Aristides Emmanuel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Oscar Ciano. Oscar Ciano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Oscar Ciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Emmanuel in the 21st minute of the match. Oscar Ciano was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Rodolfo Pirmin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rodolfo Pirmin really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Aristides Emmanuel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Guaviraví AFC's Evelio Corderall got a free kick in the 28th minute. Ernesto Barea took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oscar Ciano. Oscar Ciano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Aristides Emmanuel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Oscar Ciano made a huge save. Rodolfo Pirmin might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oscar Ciano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodolfo Pirmin ran back to his position shaking his head. Lucas Igon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ignacio Merexildo's late challenge caught a Cabalonga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ignacio Merexildo helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 played minutes Guaviraví AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Merexildo. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aristides Emmanuel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Guaviraví AFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Vinicio Firman hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Pirmin notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Guaviraví AFC's Oscar Ciano. Oscar Ciano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Artaldo in the 59th minute of play forced Guaviraví AFC's goalkeeper Oscar Ciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Guaviraví AFC defense, Aristides Emmanuel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oscar Ciano. The Guaviraví AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oscar Ciano should have stopped the shot. After 65 minutes, Fulgencio Loreto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cabalonga and the Guaviraví AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 65 played minutes Cabalonga got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Loreto. The audience was convinced that Timoteo Bide's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eriberto Paulin was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Ernesto Barea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Ciano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Barea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rodolfo Pirmin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Igon took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oscar Ciano. Oscar Ciano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Ernesto Barea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Ciano having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Aurelio Millano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aristides Emmanuel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernesto Barea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Ciano having to interfere. Cabalonga's Rodrigo Artaldo got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Aristides Emmanuel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Aristides Emmanuel came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Cabalonga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aristides Emmanuel couldn't finish the play. Cabalonga's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
