Moores FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernesto Barea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Zeledon Vito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Pirmin in the 18th minute of play. Eriberto Paulin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peyami Ulutan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aristides Emmanuel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Vito having to interfere. Zeledon Vito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Ernesto Barea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eriberto Paulin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Errando in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Peyami Ulutan made the kick off in the second half. Cabalonga's Rodrigo Artaldo got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 53rd minute, Aristides Emmanuel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodrigo Artaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Vito having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Cabalonga's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Otoniel came free, but Eriberto Paulin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 60th minute of the match Simon Errando completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Simon Errando a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 63 minutes of play, Cabalonga's Aristides Emmanuel made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeledon Vito was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ernesto Barea took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeledon Vito. Zeledon Vito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The Cabalonga fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Cabalonga's Aristides Emmanuel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cabalonga's Ernesto Barea got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Eriberto Paulin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Cabalonga booed when Moores FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Otoniel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Pirmin notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Moores FC's Zeledon Vito. Zeledon Vito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Otoniel in the 85th minute of play forced Cabalonga's goalkeeper Eriberto Paulin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87thth minute of the game Aristides Emmanuel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moores FC's Zeledon Vito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Artaldo notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Moores FC's Zeledon Vito. Zeledon Vito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hipolito Cutberto's late challenge caught a Cabalonga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hipolito Cutberto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute, one of Moores FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Moores FC. There was no doubt that Cabalonga were the better team. Cabalonga's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
