After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Santos Gartxot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valhalla Vikings's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Gartxot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximino Paublo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Ayui getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Lázaro Balesio hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the game, Santos Gartxot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Maximino Paublo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maximino Paublo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valhalla Vikings. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Gartxot in the 14th minute of play forced Ayui's goalkeeper Maximino Paublo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximino Paublo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qiu Xu, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. When Santos Gartxot came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Valhalla Vikings fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santos Gartxot couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute Qiu Xu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Paublo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Qiu Xu made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Gualterio Fidele managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ayui's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualterio Fidele was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Araoz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Freddy Oton hit a great ball. Qiu Xu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of Ayui booed when Valhalla Vikings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Oton didn't get a good kick on the ball.
