The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeremias Ubarna during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pedernales FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Arad Campos scored to the left of an out of position Aurelio Guillem, making the score, 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arad Campos was the one to do the kick off. Arad Campos spun around in front of the goal 59 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Pedernales FC's goal. In the 63rd minute, Igor Chojnacki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 64 played minutes San Lorenzo FC got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Lauro. San Lorenzo FC's Generoso Larpe got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 72 minutes of play, San Lorenzo FC's Arad Campos made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Guillem was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to San Lorenzo FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Honorio Lauro hit a great ball. San Lorenzo FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
