The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eustacio Sabino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Dominic in the 3rd minute of play. C's Francisco Jesus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Malvin in the 15th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Mendoza Tierra Luz F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Lamberto came free, but Eustacio Sabino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermegildo Lamberto scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eustacio Sabino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cornelio Dominic in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eustacio Sabino saved Mendoza Tierra Luz F.C from getting behind. After 30 played minutes Mendoza Tierra Luz F.C got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Mercurio. 34 minutes into the match, Cornelio Dominic had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eustacio Sabino. Mendoza Tierra Luz F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cornelio Dominic was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Gilberto Malvin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Jesus having to interfere. Francisco Jesus was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cristian Chago. A collision led to Madagascar F. C getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Genaro Natanael hit a great ball. Mendoza Tierra Luz F.C's Gilberto Malvin got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Madagascar F. C's Francisco Jesus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Madagascar F. C from getting a goal against them. The Mendoza Tierra Luz F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Madagascar F. C were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilberto Malvin made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Enzo Onbera recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eustacio Sabino. Enzo Onbera showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. 61 minutes into the game, Cristian Chago was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mendoza Tierra Luz F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Madagascar F. C the free kick. A collision led to Mendoza Tierra Luz F.C getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Cristian Chago hit a great ball. The supporters of Mendoza Tierra Luz F.C booed when Madagascar F. C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Vincent didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute Felix Urritz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Jesus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eustacio Sabino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cornelio Dominic in the 83rd minute. Francisco Jesus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Malvin, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute.
