A hard shot 21 in the game by Anselmo Estevez from a close distance when the talented Isidro Padro managed to make a qualified save. lyon's players were relieved. Anselmo Estevez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Isidro Padro made a huge save. The supporters of Goyena AFC booed when lyon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Demesio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute Guido Henry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Padro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. lyon's Isidro Padro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Henry in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Anselmo Estevez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Isidro Padro. Anselmo Estevez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Anselmo Estevez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Isidro Padro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44thth minute of the game Guido Henry who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but lyon's Isidro Padro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isidro Padro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Henry in the 48th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After a rather tough play, Goyena AFC's Guido Henry got a free kick in the 51st minute. Florencio Martxel made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Lorenzo Oriol sent off a good shot on target. 58 minutes into the match, lyon's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Henry came free, but Isidro Padro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cornelio Madeo hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Guido Henry might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isidro Padro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guido Henry ran back to his position shaking his head. 73 minutes into the match, lyon's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Henry came free, but Isidro Padro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidro Padro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guido Henry's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. After 76 minutes lyon's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Domingos Pacorro who took care of the corner kick. lyon's Isidro Padro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Henry in the 79th minute of play. Goyena AFC's Anselmo Estevez got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Higinio Demesio charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Higinio Demesio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 87 played minutes lyon got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Demesio. In the 93rd minute Anselmo Estevez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Padro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higinio Demesio was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 94th match minute, lyon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Demesio to maneuver through the defense. Goyena AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
