Spectators: 7212 (Terracing: 5410, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) Saverio Xabat made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, lyon's goalkeeper Isidro Padro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alişan Şengil. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henrik Ljungberg in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidro Padro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lorenzo Oriol hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The supporters of Caleufú booed when lyon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Oriol didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, lyon's Isidro Padro got control of the ball when Alişan Şengil tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th match minute, lyon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Oriol to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Henrik Ljungberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isidro Padro was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game.
