The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ceferino Ikatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Patricio Ellande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruperto Dominguez's late challenge caught a Vodka Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruperto Dominguez helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Barsa FC's Ruperto Dominguez got a free kick in the 9th minute. Patricio Ellande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Bartolome, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Jairo Cordario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Uriel Leheren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patricio Ellande was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Domingos Bartolome sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rosendo Manny fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vodka Juniors's protests and gave Rosendo Manny a yellow card for diving instead. Patricio Ellande stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uriel Leheren's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Domingos Bartolome sped through Vodka Juniors's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Patricio Ellande. The supporters of Vodka Juniors booed when Barsa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruperto Dominguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Jonatan Chucho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Domingos Bartolome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half Barsa FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Domingos Bartolome to make the kick off. Vodka Juniors's Patricio Ellande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Bartolome in the 56th minute of play. Uriel Leheren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Patricio Ellande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Domingos Bartolome managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barsa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingos Bartolome was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patricio Ellande breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee felt a red card was in order, 61 minutes into the game, when Baldomero Vigil put in a rough tackle. In the 62nd minute, Baldomero Vigil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Barsa FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Uriel Leheren hit a great ball. After 67 played minutes Barsa FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Chucho. Jonatan Chucho was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. Barsa FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ceferino Ikatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Ceferino Ikatz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Patricio Ellande. That made the score 0-3 in the 77 minute of play. Ceferino Ikatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Patricio Ellande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 86 minutes of play, Barsa FC's Ceferino Ikatz made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patricio Ellande was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patricio Ellande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Ikatz, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Ceferino Ikatz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 92nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jonatan Chucho struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Patricio Ellande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barsa FC. Jonatan Chucho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Ellande having to interfere. Barsa FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
