During the 13th minute of the match Enrique Amor completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Enrique Amor a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 14th match minute, Islas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Amor to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Islas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Kaxen came free, but Eugenio George reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugenio George showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Otoniel in the 22nd minute of the match. Monteros FC's Eduardo Boniel got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute Eduardo Boniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio George saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Monteros FC's Emanuel Gaizkine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Dodorol in the 28th minute of play. Emilio Alvarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Otoniel in the 31st minute of play forced Islas AFC's goalkeeper Eugenio George to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Emilio Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugenio George showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Otoniel in the 35th minute of the match. Maximiliano Dodorol hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Islas AFC's zone, Eduardo Boniel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio George came out of the goal and Eduardo Boniel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Boniel in the 38th minute of play forced Islas AFC's goalkeeper Eugenio George to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Islas AFC's Eugenio George played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Boniel in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emilio Alvarez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Eduardo Boniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio George saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Alejandro Geleberto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monteros FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Islas AFC the free kick. After 61 played minutes Monteros FC got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Geleberto. 69 minutes into the match, Islas AFC's goalkeeper Eugenio George had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jimeno Kaxen. Eugenio George took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Berbiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Islas AFC's Bonifacio Rodas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Isaias Policarpio in the 76 minute of the game. In the 79th minute, Christian Otoniel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eugenio George. The goal made the score 0-4. Eugenio George showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Boniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 87th minute, Christian Otoniel made a precise shot to the right of Eugenio George. Islas AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Eugenio George took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Boniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejandro Geleberto took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugenio George. Eugenio George dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. When the final whistle sounded Monteros FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Islas AFC.
