Gregorio Idacio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Felipe Cordara. Esteve Urtsin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Gasolero's goalkeeper Gregorio Idacio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvio Lekubegi. Hector Jax fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Pedroso having to interfere. If Hector Jax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the game, Haroldo Socorro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ramírez AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gasolero the free kick. After 40 played minutes Ramírez AFC got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Socorro. If Esteve Urtsin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Esteve Urtsin to make the kick off. The supporters of Gasolero booed when Ramírez AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Irrintzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ramírez AFC reached it. Esteve Urtsin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alejo Jatsu hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
