The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Carrilobo's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejandro Estebano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedicto Jacindo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Club Atletico Paz defense, Alejandro Estebano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benedicto Jacindo. The Club Atletico Paz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benedicto Jacindo should have stopped the shot. After 15 played minutes Club Atletico Paz got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Montes. In the 16th match minute, Club Atletico Paz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Anaya to maneuver through the defense. Anselmo Anaya hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Benedicto Jacindo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelino Bertran's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Carrilobo's Alejandro Estebano got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelino Bertran in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benedicto Jacindo saved Club Atletico Paz from getting behind. Anselmo Anaya charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anselmo Anaya the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Paz's Anselmo Anaya got a free kick in the 38th minute. Alejandro Estebano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Jacindo having to interfere. After 52 played minutes Carrilobo got a freekick which was hit by Joel Beti. Ramon Xabel hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. If Alejandro Estebano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Carrilobo's Marcelino Bertran ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benedicto Jacindo. Benedicto Jacindo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. When Marcelino Bertran came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Carrilobo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelino Bertran couldn't finish the play. Anselmo Anaya got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Anselmo Anaya kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Marcelino Bertran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Benedicto Jacindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uriel Montes hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Marcelino Bertran's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Benedicto Jacindo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Benedicto Jacindo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelino Bertran's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Carrilobo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
