With an extended leg and a bit of luck Virgilio Montae prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 24 minutes, Joel Gaitan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Nuevo Niedo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaitan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edelmiro Kinsen in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Virgilio Montae prevented the ball from getting in the gole. City FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Edelmiro Kinsen 37 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. After 40 minutes, Stelian Vernescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Nuevo Niedo and the City FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Club Atlético Nuevo Niedo getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Stelian Vernescu hit a great ball. After 41 played minutes Club Atlético Nuevo Niedo got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Abella. With a little luck, City FC's Virgilio Montae got control of the ball when Domingo Isaio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edelmiro Kinsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgard Firmo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Virgilio Montae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Kinsen in the 58th minute of play. Joel Gaitan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Virgilio Montae tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Firmo in the 71st minute of play forced Club Atlético Nuevo Niedo's goalkeeper Radim Frolík to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute Domingo Isaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Montae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgilio Montae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Kinsen in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Edelmiro Kinsen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Virgilio Montae. City FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edelmiro Kinsen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. A collision led to City FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play.
