In the 7th minute, Hector Jurgi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Clodoveo Mouricio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquin Nuñez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Clodoveo Mouricio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute Hector Jurgi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Salvidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Salvajes del Sur's goalkeeper Desiderio Salvidor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 22 minutes, Omar Isidor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Isidor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Arotza charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcos Arotza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcos Arotza kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Clodoveo Mouricio struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Miguel Vedillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salvajes del Sur. After 31 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Bela. Miguel Vedillo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 33rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Baltasar Cugat. If Hector Jurgi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 37 minutes, Leopoldo Afonso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Racing Club and the Salvajes del Sur players grew even worse after the yellow card. Desiderio Salvidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Nuñez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Desiderio Salvidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Nuñez in the 45th minute of play. Joaquin Nuñez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquin Nuñez made a kick off. Desiderio Salvidor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omar Isidor's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Joaquin Nuñez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Desiderio Salvidor having to make a save. Joaquin Nuñez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Omar Isidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Salvidor having to interfere. Evaristo Galo hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute of the match Hernan Frederik sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Desiderio Salvidor skillfully saved the ball. Marcos Arotza hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Joaquin Nuñez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Desiderio Salvidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Racing Club's Joaquin Nuñez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Miguel Vedillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Mouricio in the 78th minute of play. When Marcos Arotza was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 80 minutes had been played. The supporters of Racing Club booed when Salvajes del Sur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Arotza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hector Jurgi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Desiderio Salvidor made a huge save. Miguel Vedillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Omero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88 played minutes Omar Isidor rounded Salvajes del Sur's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. Desiderio Salvidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Nuñez in the 93rd minute of the match. Racing Club's Hector Jurgi got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Racing Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Salvajes del Sur.
