If Melquiades Eliazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipolletti's Clodoveo Jaizki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Chinto in the 6th minute of play. Hugo Francho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Piñero in the 11th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ezequiel Corderun got free with Hugo Francho in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hugo Francho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Piñero in the 15th minute of the match. Hugo Francho was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Ezequiel Corderun capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ezequiel Corderun really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Ezequiel Corderun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 2-0 became the score in the 26th minute when Patricio Piñero elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Elpidio Tono had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clodoveo Jaizki. Cipolletti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elpidio Tono was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Hugo Francho didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 34th minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. When Braulio Gudesteo fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cipolletti's protests and gave Braulio Gudesteo a yellow card for diving instead. Braulio Gudesteo hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, Melquiades Eliazar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clodoveo Jaizki was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Ezequiel Corderun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 3-3 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patricio Piñero to strike the kick off in the second half. Cipolletti's Clodoveo Jaizki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Eliazar in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Tono in the 56th minute of play forced Cipolletti's goalkeeper Clodoveo Jaizki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Clica's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roque Boni in the 57th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Cipolletti's goalie and right to Jesus Chinto. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Cipolletti's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Melquiades Eliazar managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Clica's supporters rose to their feet, but Melquiades Eliazar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clodoveo Jaizki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th match minute, Cipolletti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Attilio Santo to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Cipolletti's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Elpidio Tono fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Anastasio Benino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 袁朗广 lost his temper 82 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 82nd minute, one of La Clica:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Clica. Angelo Goi shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After some careless play in the La Clica defense, Patricio Piñero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Francho. The La Clica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Francho should have stopped the shot. Hugo Francho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Piñero in the 92nd minute of the match. Jesus Chinto might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clodoveo Jaizki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jesus Chinto ran back to his position shaking his head.
