The audience was convinced that Batıray Cinel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Ixaka was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Jesus Dodorol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Ixaka having to make a save. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jesus Dodorol to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Ignacio Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paredones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignacio Neto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ivan Ixaka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Dodorol, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. When Santiago Cuartio fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abran cancha's protests and gave Santiago Cuartio a yellow card for diving instead. Santiago Cuartio kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After 73 played minutes Paredones got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Quintana. If Batıray Cinel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Batıray Cinel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Ixaka having to interfere. Ivan Ixaka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Bitxintxo in the 86th minute of play. Jesus Dodorol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgard Medero got free with Ivan Ixaka in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Jesus Dodorol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abran cancha's supporters rose to their feet, but Jesus Dodorol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Ixaka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
