After a rather tough play, Murquilla AFC's Christian Lugo got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 9th match minute, Murquilla AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Evarado to maneuver through the defense. Esteban Lluc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelo Ondino charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelo Ondino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Murquilla AFC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Marcelo Ondino hit a great ball. Severo Silvanito made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Fermin Quexal sent off a good shot on target. Leo Abaunza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Silvanito having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Leo Abaunza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. INDEPENDIENTE Ch-Ldo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Murquilla AFC the free kick. If Domingo Cutberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabian Macario hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Leo Abaunza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severo Silvanito made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Esteban Lluc sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fermin Quexal to make the kick off. Fermin Quexal kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The supporters of Murquilla AFC booed when INDEPENDIENTE Ch-Ldo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Cutberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingo Cutberto got his second yellow card in the match during the 59th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, INDEPENDIENTE Ch-Ldo's Domingo Cutberto got a free kick in the 60th minute. Fermin Quexal hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Esteban Lluc's late challenge caught a Murquilla AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteban Lluc helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Murquilla AFC booed when INDEPENDIENTE Ch-Ldo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Lluc didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 played minutes, Murquilla AFC's Emiliano Efren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jorge Niguel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Murquilla AFC reached it. Jorge Niguel was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Freddy Evarado capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Freddy Evarado really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Murquilla AFC's zone, Fermin Quexal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severo Silvanito came out of the goal and Fermin Quexal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the match, Murquilla AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Abaunza came free, but Severo Silvanito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Freddy Evarado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. INDEPENDIENTE Ch-Ldo's Jorge Niguel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save INDEPENDIENTE Ch-Ldo from getting a goal against them. With his leg Jorge Niguel managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Murquilla AFC's Freddy Evarado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jorge Niguel made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Freddy Evarado sent off a good shot on target. The INDEPENDIENTE Ch-Ldo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Murquilla AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Murquilla AFC.
