In the 13th minute, Guaberto Curcio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fidel Sidoro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Fidel Sidoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Isauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Carlos Rayman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Bikendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Cecilio Isauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Sidoro having to interfere. If Cecilio Isauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 36 minutes into the match, C. A. Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Curcio came free, but Fidel Sidoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliciano Bikendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Rayman having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Curcio in the 41st minute of play forced C. A. Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Fidel Sidoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Fidel Sidoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Isauro in the 52nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cannabio FC's zone, Feliciano Bikendi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Rayman came out of the goal and Feliciano Bikendi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. C. A. Boca Juniors's Fidel Sidoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Isauro in the 63rd minute of play. Fidel Sidoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guaberto Curcio, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After some careless play in the C. A. Boca Juniors defense, Cecilio Isauro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fidel Sidoro. The C. A. Boca Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fidel Sidoro should have stopped the shot. In the 69th minute, Teo Telo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the game, Guaberto Curcio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Fidel Sidoro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fidel Sidoro was a little too slow when Marcel Proença got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-7. Fidel Sidoro made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Guaberto Curcio sent off a good shot on target. C. A. Boca Juniors's Fidel Sidoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Isauro in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Cannabio FC's Guaberto Curcio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fidel Sidoro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Carlos Rayman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Suarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Feliciano Bikendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Carlos Rayman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Cannabio FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than C. A. Boca Juniors throughout the match.
