In the 27th minute, Everardo Donostia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 30 minutes, Daniel Dobre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barcelona jogo bonito and the Deportivo Gaturro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Deportivo Gaturro's Jeremias Tono got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute Everardo Donostia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Lopez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Everardo Donostia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosme Lopez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeremias Tono in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute of the game Gualterio Honrio made a throw-in which Zeledon Conrao played forward. A collision led to Barcelona jogo bonito getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Daniel Dobre hit a great ball. When Narciso Santiago came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Deportivo Gaturro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Santiago couldn't finish the play. Barcelona jogo bonito's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Everardo Donostia scored to the left of an out of position Cosme Lopez, making the score, 0-6. The Barcelona jogo bonito fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deportivo Gaturro were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
