When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Pawel Damazki put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fulgencio Rafe. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Segundo Joey to strike the kick off in the second half. Segundo Joey hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. The supporters of Relámpago FC booed when Animaná FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Figueroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pawel Damazkis short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Fulgencio Rafe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Virtanen got free with Fulgencio Rafe in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alejo Min's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fulgencio Rafe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Relámpago FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
