In the 10th minute Cleto Shantala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Hondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Aldo Atauri fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BUENOS AIRES F.C.'s protests and gave Aldo Atauri a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, BUENOS AIRES F.C.'s Aldo Atauri got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 13th match minute, Esteco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Romero to maneuver through the defense. Ciriaco Umbruso hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Cleto Shantala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnaldo Hondo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Julio Niguel fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esteco FC's protests and gave Julio Niguel a yellow card for diving instead. Julio Niguel kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Esteco FC's Rigoberto Teodor got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cleto Shantala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Waldir Ulloa made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Ciriaco Umbruso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Esteco FC's Aaron Bazil got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 74th minute, Cleto Shantala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elias Romero struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Arnaldo Hondo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esteco FC. Cleto Shantala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Arnaldo Hondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esteco FC's Cleto Fix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Indalecio in the 83rd minute of play. Cleto Fix came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by BUENOS AIRES F.C.'s Ciriaco Umbruso. But to his dismay, Ciriaco Umbruso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 94th match minute, BUENOS AIRES F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Mannuel to maneuver through the defense. If Cleto Shantala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
