After 4 played minutes Esteco FC got a freekick which was hit by Elias Romero. Gerardo Felipo kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 5thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Esteco FC's keeper Cleto Fix was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Niguel in the 6th minute of play forced Escobar FC's goalkeeper Tomas Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute of the match Hilario Geofredo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomas Lopes skillfully saved the ball. Rosendo Ibar charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rosendo Ibar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th match minute, Esteco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosendo Ibar to maneuver through the defense. Julio Niguel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Tomas Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 22nd minute, but Cleto Fix got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Esteco FC hanging dry this time. Esteco FC's Cleto Fix proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Esteco FC from getting a goal against them. Cleto Shantala hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Gerardo Felipo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Cleto Fix skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Arnulfo Martxel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Escobar FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnulfo Martxel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cleto Fix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amancio Paskal kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Cleto Fix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Nuñez in the 34th minute of play. Tomas Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Niguel in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Escobar FC's Fausto Piorno got a free kick in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Niguel in the 39th minute of play forced Escobar FC's goalkeeper Tomas Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 minutes of play, Esteco FC's Cleto Shantala made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomas Lopes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Esteco FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Cleto Shantala made the kick off in the second half. Clemente Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the game, Ernesto Fernado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Escobar FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esteco FC the free kick. In the 59th minute, Ernesto Fernado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74 played minutes Esteco FC got a freekick which was hit by Hilario Geofredo. Jimeno Joachim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Cleto Shantala dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tomas Lopes, 0-3. When the final whistle went the supporters of Esteco FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Escobar FC side.
