Spectators: 7128 (Terracing: 5347, Seating: 1640, VIP seats: 141) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mauricio Hanni took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 7 minutes, Mauricio Hanni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Franco-Canadiense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauricio Hanni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Americo Rencio made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Hugo Abancens sent off a good shot on target. Gabriel Endura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Mauricio Hanni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristobal Avellaneda was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Girondo AFC's zone, Eloy Iaki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristobal Avellaneda came out of the goal and Eloy Iaki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristobal Avellaneda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Hanni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eloy Iaki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Avellaneda having to interfere. Pastor Jaen charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pastor Jaen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pastor Jaen hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Cristobal Avellaneda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauricio Hanni went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Mauricio Hanni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Franco-Canadiense's Eloy Iaki got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristobal Avellaneda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Hanni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Arturo Abad came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Franco-Canadiense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Abad couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute Mauricio Hanni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Avellaneda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauricio Hanni in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristobal Avellaneda saved Girondo AFC from getting behind. Eloy Iaki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Cristobal Avellaneda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristobal Avellaneda came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Franco-Canadiense's Cipriano Sengrat. But to his dismay, Cipriano Sengrat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriel Endura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Franco-Canadiense's Mauricio Hanni in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Girondo AFC's goalie prevented a goal. If Gabriel Endura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mauricio Hanni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Avellaneda having to interfere. The supporters of Franco-Canadiense booed when Girondo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Jaen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Girondo AFC's goalie and right to Mauricio Hanni. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Girondo AFC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 68th minute Mauricio Hanni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Avellaneda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st match minute, Girondo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Israel Tello to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Hanni in the 73rd minute of play forced Girondo AFC's goalkeeper Cristobal Avellaneda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th match minute, Girondo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Sanduru to maneuver through the defense. When Mauricio Hanni came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Franco-Canadiense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauricio Hanni couldn't finish the play. When Hugo Abancens fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Girondo AFC's protests and gave Hugo Abancens a yellow card for diving instead. Hugo Abancens hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Mauricio Hanni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Cristobal Avellaneda made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Mauricio Hanni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Franco-Canadiense's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauricio Hanni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristobal Avellaneda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Girondo AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Franco-Canadiense were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
