In the 11th minute, Anier Servando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 12 minutes, Isaias Guillem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yaví's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaias Guillem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastian Mogel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastian Mogel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Eliseo Izotz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Mariano Bessa put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ciro Onbera. Ciro Onbera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Billie McCray in the 23rd minute of the match. Sebastian Mogel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Eliseo Izotz made a huge save. In the 30th minute, Zeledon Guilabertus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciro Onbera was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Bessa in the 33rd minute of play forced Yaví's goalkeeper Ciro Onbera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yaví's Ciro Onbera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billie McCray in the 36th minute of play. Ciro Onbera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Bessa, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After some careless play in the Yaví defense, Mariano Bessa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciro Onbera. The Yaví fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciro Onbera should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Bessa to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Mogel in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eliseo Izotz saved Trelew from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Mogel in the 59th minute of play forced Trelew's goalkeeper Eliseo Izotz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Sebastian Mogel notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Trelew's Eliseo Izotz. With a little luck, Yaví's Ciro Onbera got control of the ball when Mariano Bessa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fausto Domiku blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciro Onbera having to make a save. Billie McCray could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Ciro Onbera made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Yaví's zone, Fausto Domiku stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Onbera came out of the goal and Fausto Domiku tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute Cirilo Hitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Izotz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseo Izotz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Mogel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute of the game, Leon Bazkoare landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 93 minutes, Anacleto Sanson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yaví and the Trelew players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 94 played minutes Yaví got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Sanson. When the final whistle sounded Trelew left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Yaví.
