Spectators: 7174 (Terracing: 5382, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 142) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fausto Mannuel took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Fausto Mannuel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CLUB ATLETICO ITUZAINGO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 7 played minutes Zanjitas got a freekick which was hit by Benito Silbestre. Fausto Mannuel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Edgard Toro firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Zanjitas booed when CLUB ATLETICO ITUZAINGO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Balesio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Fabian Kauldi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Victor Reynardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Romulo Umea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zanjitas's Edgard Toro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Zanjitas from getting a goal against them. Edgard Toro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fausto Mannuel in the 41st minute. Romulo Umea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Viegas in the 46th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Viegas in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romulo Umea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

58 minutes into the match, Fausto Mannuel notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Zanjitas's Edgard Toro. Edgard Toro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 61st match minute, Zanjitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Montel to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Herminio Estavan managed to get in a good position for a shot. CLUB ATLETICO ITUZAINGO's supporters rose to their feet, but Herminio Estavan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgard Toro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute Fausto Mannuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Toro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgard Toro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Valerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79 minutes CLUB ATLETICO ITUZAINGO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Patricio Fernendo who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Daniel Bastos managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Daniel Bastos did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Romulo Umea 79 minutes into the match. Basilio Mirande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romulo Umea having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, Zanjitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Viegas to maneuver through the defense.
