The supporters of Burrullacú booed when EmpomadoresFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Joey didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Burrullacú's Andres Lucila sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domingos Bernard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benicio Gaitan's late challenge caught a Burrullacú's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benicio Gaitan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th match minute, EmpomadoresFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benicio Gaitan to maneuver through the defense.
