If Ciro Pacho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Eulalio Amor ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 58 minutes, Ciro Pacho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guillermo y Palermo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Pacho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eulalio Amor took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benedicto Abarca. Benedicto Abarca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The Guillermo y Palermo fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Guillermo y Palermo's Ciro Pacho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Delmiro Acevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eulalio Amor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Benedicto Abarca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, el guachin corredor's goal looked a bit too open when Eulalio Amor came free, but Benedicto Abarca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eulalio Amor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benedicto Abarca having to make a save.
