If Baldomiro Fonda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Pastor Evarado fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adan Guilabertus to strike the kick off in the second half. GIMNASIA DE JUJUY's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cosmin Comănescu in the 53rd minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of venturinha99's goalie and right to Joaquin Omero.
