If Jose Sindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Orlando Ranolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot. River Plate's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando Ranolfo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Afonso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Aureliano Gilen fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored River Plate's protests and gave Aureliano Gilen a yellow card for diving instead. It was a well-played corner which Jose Sindo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Serafino Sanson came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Dolores FC's Aquiles Argi. But to his dismay, Aquiles Argi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 36 minutes, Eugenio Llope mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the River Plate and the Dolores FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 36 played minutes River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Llope. The supporters of River Plate booed when Dolores FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Argi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Eugenio Llope made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Afonso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabian Iztal went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Natalio Maiorga during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 66 minutes into the game, Aquiles Argi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Serafino Sanson. Aquiles Argi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Natalio Maiorga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabian Iztal during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th minute, Fabian Iztal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serafino Sanson was a little too slow when Aquiles Argi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 1-3. Serafino Sanson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Argi in the 82nd minute of the match. Fabian Iztal was shown his second yellow card after 85 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to River Plate getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Fabian Iztal hit a great ball. Serafino Sanson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aquiles Argi's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Serafino Sanson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jose Sindo in the 89th minute. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Aquiles Argi took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Serafino Sanson to make any attempt to save it. The River Plate supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dolores FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Dolores FC.
