After 2 played minutes Los Gauchos de Boedo got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Oliverios. In the 4th minute Leonardo Haitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Berto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Leonardo Haitz came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Los Gauchos de Boedo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Haitz couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute, Alberto Mercurio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bonifacio Guipuzkoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Larra having to interfere. SAMBO FC's Emiliano Berto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save SAMBO FC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Delmar Acosta in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baldomiro Larra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute, Alberto Mercurio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artemio Telesforo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Emiliano Berto made a huge save. Baldomiro Larra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Hartz in the 35th minute of play. After 37 played minutes Leonardo Haitz rounded SAMBO FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Delmar Acosta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emiliano Berto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Haitz in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Delmar Acosta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emiliano Berto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Haitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Delmar Acosta was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 58th minute. SAMBO FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a little luck, Los Gauchos de Boedo's Baldomiro Larra got control of the ball when Bonifacio Guipuzkoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emiliano Berto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Haitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emiliano Berto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Haitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Baldomiro Larra made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Bonifacio Guipuzkoa sent off a good shot on target. Astor Quinten's late challenge caught a SAMBO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Astor Quinten helped the player get up and apologised. After 71 played minutes Los Gauchos de Boedo got a freekick which was hit by Astor Quinten. SAMBO FC's Delmar Acosta got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Bonifacio Guipuzkoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76th minute, Delmar Acosta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SAMBO FC's Bonifacio Guipuzkoa got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Octavio Perutxo placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Emiliano Berto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Haitz in the 92nd minute of the match. Emiliano Berto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Telesforo in the 95th minute of play. When Damaso Lizardi fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SAMBO FC's protests and gave Damaso Lizardi a yellow card for diving instead. Damaso Lizardi kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Filomeno Indartsu, 97 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
