In the 40th minute, Conrado Baladi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of New Chelsea booed when Parque Chacabuco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Urtungo didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Isidoro Tiadoro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseo Palben went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Parque Chacabuco FC's Gaspar Ramirez got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in New Chelsea's zone, Gaspar Ramirez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anibal Lorenz came out of the goal and Gaspar Ramirez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaspar Ramirez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anibal Lorenz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Ramirez, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Anibal Lorenz came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Parque Chacabuco FC's Gaspar Ramirez. But to his dismay, Gaspar Ramirez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. If Gaspar Ramirez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaspar Ramirez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Lorenz having to interfere. If Gaspar Ramirez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nicanor Vimaro hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. New Chelsea's Zeledon Lluis pulled a muscle in his leg after 85 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 85 minutes into the game, Gaston Urtungo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. One of Parque Chacabuco FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of New Chelsea:s goal. 1-4 came through a penalty shot after 88 played minutes, when New Chelsea:s Rosendo Gabirel calmly waited for Parque Chacabuco FC:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Parque Chacabuco FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
