When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Leon Berart took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Victorino Olando to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Maraman in the 10th minute of play forced Hunter FC's goalkeeper Andres Vergaray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerardo Eguerdi hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hunter FC's goalkeeper Andres Vergaray, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 16thth minute of the game Paulino Balendin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hunter FC's Andres Vergaray was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 21st minute, Rosendo Maraman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dionisio Chale succeeded in the game's 22nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Albino Guerrero hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, Rosendo Maraman notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Hunter FC's Andres Vergaray. If Leon Berart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Gil defense, Leon Berart kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victorino Olando. The Gil fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victorino Olando should have stopped the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 3-3 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Gil made a substitution. Andres Jakes replaced Lucio Francis. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dionisio Chale stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Gil booed when Hunter FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Luiz Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Hunter FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Prospero Salvidor hit a great ball. Hunter FC's Rodrigo Ponce was substituted for Sixto Grabiel. Paulino Balendin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Andres Vergaray made a huge save. Andres Vergaray made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Paulino Balendin sent off a good shot on target. Rosendo Maraman helped the player get up and apologised. Rosendo Maraman hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Victorino Olando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Berart in the 94th minute of play. Hunter FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Baiarte Villafaña in the 95th minute. After taking down the ball on Hunter FC's corner Baiarte Villafaña fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Victorino Olando quite easily take care of the ball. In the 97th minute, Baiarte Villafaña ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victorino Olando was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Hunter FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
