In the 14thth minute of the game Benedykt Lesiecki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Recoleccion's Aristides Leguizamón was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Aaron Beti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Blas Gomesano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Bathurst FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Innocenzio came free, but Evaristo Blanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Beti in the 34th minute of play forced Recoleccion's goalkeeper Aristides Leguizamón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blas Gomesano kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Gaspar Tavio fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Evaristo Blanco, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, Recoleccion's Gustavo Gizon got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benedykt Lesiecki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Evaristo Blanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Innocenzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Recoleccion's goalkeeper Aristides Leguizamón, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Evaristo Blanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Tavio in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute Isidoro Emmanuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Blanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Benedykt Lesiecki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aristides Leguizamón was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
