Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tiburcio Gomesano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tiburcio Gomesano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-André Buchwalder in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Jan-André Buchwalder lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Tiburcio Gomesano. If Agustin Gentza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Cabal FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jan-André Buchwalder fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Gaudencio Fix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-André Buchwalder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiburcio Gomesano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. With a little luck, Cabal FC's Tiburcio Gomesano got control of the ball when Gaudencio Fix tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jan-André Buchwalders short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Tiburcio Gomesano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jan-André Buchwalder might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiburcio Gomesano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan-André Buchwalder ran back to his position shaking his head. Cabal FC's Tiburcio Gomesano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Gentza in the 46th minute of play. Jan-André Buchwalder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Tiburcio Gomesano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Gualterio Pacifico was shown his second yellow card after 64 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 69thth minute of the game Jan-André Buchwalder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cabal FC's Tiburcio Gomesano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Cabal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaudencio Fix came free, but Tiburcio Gomesano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiburcio Gomesano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-André Buchwalder's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Cabal FC's Tiburcio Gomesano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Cresitobalo in the 80th minute of play. Jan-André Buchwalder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th match minute, Guachipas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Isadore to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Cabal FC's zone, Jan-André Buchwalder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiburcio Gomesano came out of the goal and Jan-André Buchwalder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute, Jan-André Buchwalder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guachipas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 95th minute, Jan-André Buchwalder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tiburcio Gomesano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-André Buchwalder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
