An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Oihenarte in the 19th minute of play forced Joyango's goalkeeper Melquiades Castel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angel Kismi might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melquiades Castel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angel Kismi ran back to his position shaking his head. Silvio Berriotxoa's late challenge caught a Innsmouth FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvio Berriotxoa helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes Joyango got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Berriotxoa. Baldomero Tartalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Melquiades Castel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melquiades Castel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Melquiades Caton was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Joyango's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Kismi came free, but Melquiades Castel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Joyango's zone, Dario Oihenarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Castel came out of the goal and Dario Oihenarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute, Baldomero Tartalo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Melquiades Castel, passed just outside the right post. If Dario Oihenarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristo Eguerdi got free with Melquiades Castel in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 74 minutes into the match, Ciriaco Beltxe notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Innsmouth FC's Carmelo Bela. Carmelo Bela was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 77 minutes, Dario Oihenarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Innsmouth FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dario Oihenarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gervasio Gentza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Melquiades Castel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Baldomero Tartalo came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Innsmouth FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomero Tartalo couldn't finish the play. Cipriano Foronda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Dario Oihenarte reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Melquiades Castel. The goal made the score 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Caton in the 94th minute of play forced Innsmouth FC's goalkeeper Carmelo Bela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Innsmouth FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Joyango.
