In the 30th match minute, Palma FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Bernard to maneuver through the defense. Enrique Tabor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfonso Nardo having to make a save. After 47 played minutes Palma FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Fortun. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erasmo Galsino to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Silvestre Nabar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alfonso Nardo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
