But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Piorno couldn't finish the play. 11 minutes into the game, Cristo Figueroa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jeremias Truylos. Cristo Figueroa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Arsenal FC's zone, Israel Caradaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremias Truylos came out of the goal and Israel Caradaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeremias Truylos made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Israel Caradaro sent off a good shot on target. Israel Caradaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jeremias Truylos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeremias Truylos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Figueroa, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristo Figueroa in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremias Truylos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Azul y Oro FC booed when Arsenal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Tohias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremias Truylos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristo Figueroa to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Cristo Figueroa put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jeremias Truylos. Israel Caradaro scored 3-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeremias Truylos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee ignored Arsenal FC's protests and gave Nemesio Socorro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 99th minute there was a penalty for Azul y Oro FC. Ezequiel Tallia stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jeremias Truylos. 6-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Azul y Oro FC fully deserved thier win.
