The supporters of Azul y Oro FC booed when Cipolletti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Guillen didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Cipolletti FC's Isidoro Bartolome got control of the ball when Israel Caradaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17thth minute of the game Cristo Donostia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Azul y Oro FC's Tiburcio Evangelista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Evelio Sein hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Tiburcio Evangelista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Donostia, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After some careless play in the Azul y Oro FC defense, Cristo Donostia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiburcio Evangelista. The Azul y Oro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiburcio Evangelista should have stopped the shot. Cristo Donostia struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Tiburcio Evangelista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cipolletti FC. Tiburcio Evangelista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Guillerme in the 37th minute of the match. If Cristo Donostia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Geronimo Romo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tiburcio Evangelista. Azul y Oro FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 48th minute of the match Geronimo Romo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tiburcio Evangelista skillfully saved the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristo Figueroa to strike the kick off in the second half. Azul y Oro FC's Tiburcio Evangelista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Donostia in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Cristo Donostia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tiburcio Evangelista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristo Donostia's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. If Cristo Donostia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Cristo Donostia fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tiburcio Evangelista, passed just outside the right post. In the 71st match minute, Cipolletti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Chico to maneuver through the defense. If Cristo Figueroa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isaac Gines hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Cipolletti FC's Cristo Donostia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tiburcio Evangelista. Tiburcio Evangelista yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Tiburcio Evangelista made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Cristo Donostia sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Azul y Oro FC booed when Cipolletti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Lando didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Israel Caradaro came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Azul y Oro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Israel Caradaro couldn't finish the play. Cipolletti FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
