Americo Eate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Pello having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Kris Üleoja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 12 minutes, Geronimo Urtats managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esencia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geronimo Urtats was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Esencia FC's Elias Videla got a free kick in the 16th minute. After recieving a nice pass, ARKANTOS SPORTING CLUB's Adan Azubeli tried to score from far away in the 16th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Esencia FC's zone, Serafino Cordeara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristo Savier came out of the goal and Serafino Cordeara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Americo Eate might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Genaro Pello. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Americo Eate ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in ARKANTOS SPORTING CLUB's zone, Israel Unai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genaro Pello came out of the goal and Israel Unai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute of the match Baldomero Gonza sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Genaro Pello skillfully saved the ball. After 38 minutes, Americo Eate mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esencia FC and the ARKANTOS SPORTING CLUB players grew even worse after the yellow card. Americo Eate hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. If Serafino Cordeara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geronimo Urtats was slow to take the kick. During this time Esencia FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 55th minute, Valentin Txeru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind ARKANTOS SPORTING CLUB's goalkeeper Genaro Pello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Esencia FC's Americo Eate got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valentin Txeru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 minutes, Eric Beckström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ARKANTOS SPORTING CLUB and the Esencia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Esencia FC made a substitution. Baldomiro Erauso replaced Baldomero Gonza. Americo Eate struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Genaro Pello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esencia FC. Esencia FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing ARKANTOS SPORTING CLUB to leave the ground with a draw.
