Alberto Fagildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Godofredo Bortzaioriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Florencio Gaizko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Ramos charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Ramos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jorge Ramos hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. If Luis Bibiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Bibiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. SEMILLERO XENEIZE's Florencio Gaizko got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luis Bibiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Antonio Salbatore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Ramos hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. With a little luck, SEMILLERO XENEIZE's Aristides Calvino got control of the ball when Cesar Fagondo tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Oro in the 42nd minute of play forced SEMILLERO XENEIZE's goalkeeper Aristides Calvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florencio Gaizko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Bortzaioriz having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florencio Gaizko to make the kick off. Aristides Calvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Oro in the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute Florencio Gaizko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godofredo Bortzaioriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Cuervo's Godofredo Bortzaioriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Gaizko in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Anastasio Locaio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Aristides Calvino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 62nd minute Anastasio Locaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Calvino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Jose Cuervo's Jorge Ramos got a free kick in the 70th minute. Florencio Gaizko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jose Cuervo's Godofredo Bortzaioriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Gaizko in the 74th minute of play. After 75 played minutes Jose Cuervo got a freekick which was hit by Matias Oro. Godofredo Bortzaioriz was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Florencio Gaizko capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Florencio Gaizko really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in SEMILLERO XENEIZE's zone, Cesar Fagondo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Calvino came out of the goal and Cesar Fagondo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aristides Calvino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Fagondo in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Remigio Ruisko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded SEMILLERO XENEIZE left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jose Cuervo.
