Spectators: 6634 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1634, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gamus Aristegui kicked off to start the match. Mateo Confesor made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Johnny Eklund sent off a good shot on target. Simon Quico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Velez Sarsfield FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gamus Aristegui came free, but Mateo Confesor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateo Confesor was a little too slow when Joel Pereyra got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. Velez Sarsfield FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Gamus Aristegui scored to the left of an out of position Mateo Confesor, making the score, 2-0. Burbano Tofino kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 17 minutes of play, Monte Longdon F.C's Gamus Aristegui made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateo Confesor was left in no man's land by his defense there! Simon Quico kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st match minute, Monte Longdon F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Burbano Tofino to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johnny Eklund in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateo Confesor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mateo Confesor made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Johnny Eklund sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd minute, Johnny Eklund reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mateo Confesor. The goal made the score 5-0. The supporters of Velez Sarsfield FC booed when Monte Longdon F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gamus Aristegui didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elpidio Elodio was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Astor Constancio in the 53rd minute of play forced Velez Sarsfield FC's goalkeeper Mateo Confesor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octavio Geofredo kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Simon Quico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Efrain Raymon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Monte Longdon F.C's Efrain Raymon got control of the ball when Simon Quico tried to sneak it across the goal line. Velez Sarsfield FC's Mateo Confesor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gamus Aristegui in the 64th minute of play. Simon Quico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Efrain Raymon made a huge save. Monte Longdon F.C's Efrain Raymon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Monte Longdon F.C from getting a goal against them. 74 minutes into the match, Velez Sarsfield FC's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Constancio came free, but Mateo Confesor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The nice shot from Simon Quico in the 77thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Efrain Raymon had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 80th minute, Burbano Tofino made a precise shot to the right of Mateo Confesor. Velez Sarsfield FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Burbano Tofino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute Johnny Eklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Confesor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Velez Sarsfield FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Octavio Geofredo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burbano Tofino in the 90th minute of play forced Velez Sarsfield FC's goalkeeper Mateo Confesor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Johnny Eklund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mateo Confesor. Velez Sarsfield FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johnny Eklund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Simon Quico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Monte Longdon F.C's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
