With his leg Silviu Dobrica managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Culampajá AFC's Fausto Gentza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 24 minutes into the match, Culampajá AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rosendo Transito came free, but Rodrigo Ishmael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Fausto Gentza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Culampajá AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alberdians FC the free kick. Fausto Gentza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fausto Gentza made a kick off. If Fausto Gentza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the game, Culampajá AFC's Fausto Gentza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silviu Dobrica made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Bruno Lucian hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Ishmael didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 62nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Culampajá AFC's Fausto Gentza got his second yellow card of the match in the 70th minute. The referee ordered Fausto Gentza off the ground. When Silverio Cordeal fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Culampajá AFC's protests and gave Silverio Cordeal a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Alberdians FC booed when Culampajá AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silverio Cordeal didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Alonzo Quinito fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Culampajá AFC's protests and gave Alonzo Quinito a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Alberdians FC booed when Culampajá AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Quinito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Ishmael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Casomiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After having played for 81 minutes, Gilberto Daunte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Culampajá AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Daunte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Camilo Ishmael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Culampajá AFC's Silverio Cordeal got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Transito in the 95th minute of play forced Culampajá AFC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Ishmael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Alberdians FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
