Fausto Gentza started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Culampajá AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Sazon came free, but Rodrigo Ishmael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rosario Central's Fulgencio Rufo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Cordeal in the 10th minute of play. Victorio Bikendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Rodrigo Ishmael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mateo Sazon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Rodrigo Ishmael made a huge save. 16 minutes into the game, Severiano Artaldo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Rosario Central's Roque Tavio quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 17th minute of the match Roque Tavio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodrigo Ishmael showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 17 played minutes Culampajá AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Daunte. Rosario Central were furious when Victoriano Mancio was red carded, 20 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 20th minute, one of Rosario Central:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rosario Central. Fulgencio Rufo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Daunte in the 28th minute of the match. Fausto Gentza took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fulgencio Rufo. Fulgencio Rufo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 34 minutes into the game, Fausto Gentza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Fulgencio Rufo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Victorio Bikendi came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rodrigo Ishmael could save by the left post. 40 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Gentza came free, but Fulgencio Rufo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Culampajá AFC's Desiderio Eskuin suffered a concussion in the 43rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Roque Tavio fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rosario Central's protests and gave Roque Tavio a yellow card for diving instead. Culampajá AFC made a substitution. Haroldo Weather replaced Desiderio Eskuin. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Rosario Central:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Culampajá AFC:s goal. Severiano Artaldo placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The Rosario Central players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Culampajá AFC were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victorio Bikendi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bruno Lucian hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camilo Ishmael got free with Fulgencio Rufo in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silverio Cordeal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the game, Rosario Central's Luisito Rozarius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodrigo Ishmael made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 67th minute, Bruno Lucian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fulgencio Rufo was a little too slow when Fausto Gentza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 1-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Bruno Lucian kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fulgencio Rufo. That made the score 1-4 in the 75 minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Gentza came free, but Fulgencio Rufo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Culampajá AFC booed when Rosario Central was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Sazon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silverio Cordeal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Rufo having to interfere. Culampajá AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
