After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Toro's Teo Ostadar got a free kick in the 43rd minute. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Godfredo Eder took a quick shot and it went in 5-1 without a chance for Horacio Fix to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Godfredo Eder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domingos Lobo during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Ovidio Oinatz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dionisio Osasun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Rojelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute Teofilo Rojelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as BARCELONA F.C's Teofilo Rojelio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dionisio Osasun. That made the score 5-2 after 73 minutes of play. If Teofilo Rojelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidio Oinatz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Osasun having to interfere. The supporters of Club Atlético Toro booed when BARCELONA F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo Abreu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eleuterio Abajas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Club Atlético Toro's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
