In the 18th match minute, Meridiano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Costante to maneuver through the defense. Damaso Leguizamón could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Everardo Montez made a huge save. In the 22nd minute, Jonathan Ticho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fidel Quintana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Corderro in the 22nd minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Alonzo Corderro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fidel Quintana. EL FARO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alonzo Corderro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Fidel Quintana was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Corderro in the 44th minute of play forced EL FARO's goalkeeper Fidel Quintana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alonzo Corderro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aureliano Orlan to strike the kick off in the second half. Meridiano FC's Everardo Montez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Asur in the 53rd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Domingos Baudelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fidel Quintana was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Alonzo Corderro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alonzo Corderro really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. If Alonzo Corderro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 minutes of play, Meridiano FC's Jonathan Ticho made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fidel Quintana was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Ticho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fidel Quintana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. If Alonzo Corderro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to EL FARO getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Higinio Herena hit a great ball. Filiph Bergsten charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filiph Bergsten the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Filiph Bergsten hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Meridiano FC's Lázaro Roldan was substituted for Domingos Baudelio. In the 84th match minute, EL FARO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Leguizamón to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in EL FARO's zone, Adan Eufrasio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fidel Quintana came out of the goal and Adan Eufrasio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adan Eufrasio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 93rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Meridiano FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
