Leonel Lonzo made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Alfredo Licerio sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Cordarryl in the 20th minute of play forced Tamangueyú's goalkeeper Leonel Lonzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisito Iratxo's late challenge caught a las americas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luisito Iratxo helped the player get up and apologised. 33 minutes into the match, 叶政渊 notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of las americas's Uriel Gines. Lino Erroman hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Braulio Oxarra succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 42nd playminute. 47 minutes into the match, Alfredo Licerio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonel Lonzo. Tamangueyú's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredo Licerio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. After the first half Tamangueyú were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Segundo Javiar made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Segundo Javiar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tamangueyú fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Leonel Lonzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Licerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonel Lonzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Kismi in the 60th minute of play. Uriel Gines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Javiar in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Licerio in the 64th minute of play forced Tamangueyú's goalkeeper Leonel Lonzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
