Zeledon Gaizko made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Felix Macerio sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute of the match, Florencio Jeraldo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zeledon Gaizko saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Silvio Aurken took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melquiades Fernandez. Melquiades Fernandez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Melquiades Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Errolan in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Lázaro Errolan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melquiades Fernandez. Pepito Futbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lázaro Errolan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Cristo Bernaldo charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristo Bernaldo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zeledon Gaizko went to the wrong direction when Florencio Jeraldo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Paulo Tabby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Racing Banco Provincia's Zeledon Gaizko got control of the ball when Felix Macerio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 38th minute Felix Macerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Gaizko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Pepito Futbol Club booed when Racing Banco Provincia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Bernaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Racing Banco Provincia's Zeledon Gaizko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Giro in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Pepito Futbol Club's Augusto Osasun quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Arturo Basualdo, made in the 66th minute of the game. 67 minutes into the match, Racing Banco Provincia's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Jeraldo came free, but Zeledon Gaizko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Abeijon hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Lázaro Errolan struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Melquiades Fernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Banco Provincia. When the referee ended the match the Pepito Futbol Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
