Severino Sidro came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Melquiades Fernandez could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Macerio in the 16th minute of play forced Los de ballester F.C's goalkeeper Mariano Belarmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilbert Groth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Melquiades Fernandez made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Severino Sidro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los de ballester F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Severino Sidro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Macerio got free with Mariano Belarmo in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
